Structure A is a rectangular building with two rooms which can be seen straight ahead as you step foot on the island. This building is being excavated in 2005.

Structure B is a small group of inter-related ‘cells’ or rooms to the left of the bridge.

Structure C is a sub-rectangular building that may have two or three rooms.

Structure D is a large group of inter-related ‘cells’ or rooms, these may have been used for storage.

Structure E is an artificial pond built to collect fresh water.

Structure F is composed of two slight hollows in the ground, at the top of a natural ravine called Palla na Biorlinn, which leads down to the sea. The hollows are of unknown use.

Structure G is the remains of a rectangular castle or tower that has partly collapsed. Traditionally it is known as Tigh nan Arm. This building is being excavated this year.

Structure H is a stone-faced turf wall that defines the landward side of the island. It may have stood up to 5 or 6 feet in height when built.
